General Questions – FaithRewards
Who do I contact if I have questions about the site or service?
How do I raise money for my religious organization through FaithRewards?
By using the three tools: 1) Business Directory – When a business advertises on FaithRewards, their religious institution gets 25% of the advertising dollars. The business in turn gets a receptive audience that should increase their revenue as well. 2) Online Shopping Mall – When you shop through the online portal a % of your shopping dollars are contributed back to your religious institution. 3) Affinity Card (in development)- When this card is used for everyday major and minor purchases, a percentage is contributed back to religious institution.
How much money could this generate for my religious institution?
We use a conservative estimate of roughly 50% of a congregation shopping online and 10% of the congregation advertising.

If the leadership of the institution really promotes the program, the numbers are much higher.
When will my religious institution receive a check?
The type of product or service you buy will determine when the FaithRewards Merchant will send the giving amount (royalty payment) from your purchase to FaithRewards.
For example, when you reserve a hotel room, the transaction is not reported until after your hotel stay is completed. Conversely, for most product purchases, the transaction is recorded after delivery and return dates have been completed. Please see the chart below, which indicates the projected time line between the "Final Purchase Month" (including return days) and the "Payment Month". Note - FaithRewards will send payments at month's end.

Where does the money come from?
It comes from 1) the retailers who are part of the online mall 2) The financial institution that issues the affinity card and 3) the business owners who advertise on the web page provided for their institution.
Do the users ever have to pay anything?
All services are at no cost to the end user
What percentage of revenue goes to the religious institution?
100% of the advertised contribution on the online mall goes back to the religious institution, 100% the advertised rebate from the affinity credit card goes back to the religious institution, and 25% of the advertising on the free web page gets contributed to the religious institution.
What if my religious organization is not listed?
You can add your religious institution by selecting “Become a Member”. You can also select “I can’t find my Church” on the directories. Either of these will take you to a sign up form
How long will it take for my organization to be verified and posted in the database?
It usually takes a couple of days for us to verify the information submitted and add religious institution. We'll send you our welcome email as soon as it has been approved. With so many new organizations applying daily, we thank you for your patience!

Does FaithRewards work with religious institutions outside of the United States?
No. We currently only work with U.S. institutions.
Can my religious put a link to FaithRewards on it's website?
Yes it can. The FaithRewards logo can be put on any religious institutions website that has signed up with FaithRewards.
Online Mall Questions
Am I paying more to shop through FaithRewards? Is this any different than buying directly from the retailer?
Absolutely not! The experience of shopping through FaithRewards is exactly the same as going to the retailer directly – you receive the same prices and level of service. The retailers are responsible for collecting payment, shipping and returns.
Can I go directly to a retailers website, or do I have to start here?
In order to get the contributions you have to access the retailer through FaithRewards.
Is shopping through FaithRewards secure?
Absolutely! FaithRewards does not collect any credit card or personal information such as your name or address. The entire transaction is done directly through the merchants just as if you had gone to their store directly.
Why is there a delay between when I make a purchase and when it shows up on the My Account page?
We post the data that we receive from our retailers weekly on our Amount Raised page. Please note however that our retailers may take up to eight weeks to report their sales back to us from the time of your purchase. Also, you may notice a change in the totals due to returned merchandise or cancelled orders.
What happens to the contributions I have earned if I have to return a purchase?
All returns will result in a deduction of contribution dollars previously awarded for that purchase.
I have a problem with my online purchase, what do I do?
The purchases made on the online mall are fulfilled by the retailer/merchant. If the order does not arrive, arrives damaged, arrives with wrong contents, etc., please contact the merchant/retailer directly.
What if my purchase never shows up in My Account?
If you don't see your donation appearing on the My Account page after a few weeks, please email the following information to us at contributions@faithrewards.com:

Do all purchases qualify for a donation?
Yes.
Do I have to register to shop?
If you want your institution to get contributions you have to register. You can still shop without registering, but no contribution will be made.
Do I need a coupon code to take advantage of special offers?
In some cases you do. The coupon code will be given to you along with the special offer.
Do the merchants send the contribution directly to my religious institution?
To better track the contributions sent, the merchants use third party processors to compile the contributions. They transfer this information electronically to FaithRewards who mails the checks to the religious institutions.
How can my store participate?
Two ways. You can advertise on your religious institutions web page or you can contact FaithRewards to inquire about be listed on the online mall as a retail partner. Please contact us at information@faithrewards.com

Can I sign up my religious institution for a free web page?
Yes. Go to the Church tab on the FaithRewards site and fill out the form. A member from the FaithRewards team will contact your religious institution to gain permission to use their logo on the site.
I want to advertise on my institutions web page, how will I be billed?
You pay by credit card, and your account will be charged monthly.
Do I need any special technical skills to create my ad?
Not at all. You type you ad description in the designated space and upload a picture or logo. That’s it!
How long does it take for my ad to show up?
Due to the nature of the site, all ads have to be reviewed. Please allow 24-48 hours.
This depends on the plan you choose. You can choose to have it show on your institutions site only or be listed on all sites in your metropolitan area.
I want to cancel my ad and related billing, what do I do?
Send an email to cancellations@faithrewards.com. Your ad will be taken down and no subsequent billing will occur. Please allow 24 hours for your ad to be removed.
Does my ad on a churches web page indcate I have been approved by the church?
No. Your ad does not indicate you have been approved or endorsed by the church as a reputable vendor. To that end, any disputes that arise relating to goods or services provided is solely between the buyer and the seller and the church has no legal obligation to provide remedy.
